Eco Island Miyako
The Eco Island Miyakojima Marathon is the same course used for the Miyako Island Strongman Triathlon. You can see the course map, elevation chart, and a record of my running of the race at my Garmin site: Eco Island Miyakojima Marathon. Although this is low-key event, the course is relatively flat and there are water stops about every 2 1/2 kilometers. There's not much cheering or music, and about half of the runners are locals, so I wouldn't recommend this race to people outside of Okinawa. But if you enjoy onsen as much as I do, this resort might tempt you to make the trip to Miyako Island: Shigira Onsen. There aren't many places to eat, so you should prepare your food in advance. Just moments before the start of the race.

Late in the race.

As you can see I struggled late in the race.

Just after finishing.

Here is my Completition Certificate. I was rather disappointed in my 4:15:27 time. Too much walking in the last third of the race.
